Blueberry Almond Shake

From THE RAINBOW JUICE CLEANSE

Cool, creamy, and filling, this shake uses phytonutrient-rich blueberries and
heart-protecting, high-protein, vitamin E–loaded almonds.


SERVES 1

3/4 cup (150 ml) almonds
2 cups (400 ml) filtered water
1 cup (200 ml) fresh blueberries, plus more for garnish


Soak the almonds in water for a few hours or
overnight. Drain the liquid and discard. Place
the almonds, filtered water, and blueberries in a
blender. Pulse and drink.
